DITTO, a UK menstrual health startup, has raised a $6m seed round led by FoodLabs, with existing investor Eka Ventures returning after backing DITTO's pre-seed round.
Founded in 2024 by neuroscientist and nutrition scientist Alice van der Schoot and former L'Oréal brand director Adam Kugler, DITTO positions itself as an evidence-based brand sitting between clinical research, community and targeted supplements. Its first product, Premenstrual Daily, is designed to work proactively, building the body and brain's resilience to hormonal shifts before symptoms take hold rather than treating them after the fact.

The company says its ingredients are chosen for the strength of the evidence behind them and encapsulated using nutrient-delivery technology for better absorption, and that a clinical trial on the finished formula saw 88% of women report significantly reduced symptoms.
The funding will expand DITTO's PMS and PMDD supplement work and support new research, including a fresh clinical trial and a systematic review into a possible link between PMDD and ADHD. The brand also translates emerging research for a community of more than 300,000, some of whom, it says, print its findings to take to their own doctors.
"We're building more than a supplement. We're a trusted source for educating, sharing and doing the research," said co-founder Alice van der Schoot.
