Manucurist, the Paris-based nail care brand, has secured a minority investment from European mid-market private equity firm Inflexion to fund its expansion, accelerate retail growth and drive new product development. The deal is made through Inflexion's Enterprise Fund VI.

Founded in 2016, Manucurist is known for pioneering the at-home LED gel manicure and for plant-based, vegan formulations it positions as non-damaging. It sells through an omni-channel model spanning direct-to-consumer, retail and pharmacy, and now reaches more than 40 countries, with a growing presence in the US, UK and across Europe.
Inflexion said the backing will focus on international expansion, especially the US, alongside further retail rollout and growth in digital and marketplace channels. The firm has form in the category, having scaled British skincare brand Medik8 ahead of its sale to L'Oréal.
