UNROOTED, the fast-growing functional shots brand, has launched a range of High Fibre Breakfast Smoothies in the UK, taking its baobab credentials into a new morning occasion.

Each pouch delivers 6g of fibre, or 20% of the recommended daily intake, alongside vitamins C and D and calcium. The brand is pitching it against a clear gap: it says 96% of UK adults fall short of the recommended 30g of fibre a day, with average intake sitting at around 16g. The smoothies are built on 20% baobab puree, the African superfruit at the centre of every UNROOTED product, and come in at 62 to 66 calories each.
The launch follows the brand's Good Fibre Sachets earlier this year, and mirrors how protein pouches and yoghurts have turned functional nutrition into a portable, mainstream format.
The range spans three flavours: Strawberry, Raspberry & Baobab; Mango, Pineapple & Baobab; and Peach, Ginger & Baobab. It rolls out through Tesco Northern Ireland, Amazon and UNROOTED's own site, with foodservice listings to follow.
