PLESH closed a €3.75m round led by streamer Ibai Llanos and former footballer Gerard Piqué, who have both invested and joined as co-founders. It is the company's second round, following backing from the likes of Marc Gasol, Rudy Fernández, Mission and Banco Sabadell; Piqué was already a shareholder.

Alongside the raise, PLESH has struck a distribution partnership with Lacasa, one of Spain's largest chocolate manufacturers, giving it access to around 70,000 points of sale. The brand, founded in 2024 and led by CEO Jaume Betrian, already has more than 3,000 Spanish listings, including Carrefour and Alcampo.
PLESH makes sugar-free chocolate bars and bites using a plant-fibre formulation it calls ZeroUp, pitching the taste of traditional treats without the sugar. The funding will fuel growth in Spain and a first international push.
