Pip & Nut turns its first operating profit as revenue jumps 50%

Pip & Nut has reported its first operating profit, with revenue up 50% year on year to £26.4m in FY25, from £17.5m the year before. Operating profit came in at £251,000, reversing a £168,000 loss, as sales growth, improved gross margins and better leverage of its overheads fed through to the bottom line. The brand had reached EBITDA break-even in FY24.

The founder-led business has grown by investing in its core range while pushing into snacking. Stuffed Oat Bars and Protein Bars now account for 20% of the business, and Pip & Nut says it is the biggest driver of cereal bar market growth this year. European turnover also rose nearly fivefold to £736,000 in the first full year for its Belgian subsidiary.

"Reaching profitability is a hugely meaningful milestone for Pip & Nut," said founder and CEO Pip Murray. "When I started making nut butter in my kitchen, it was because I believed there was an opportunity to do things differently and show people just how exciting, nutritious and versatile nuts could be. A decade on, that belief still sits at the heart of everything we do. This milestone reflects the incredible commitment of our team and gives us an even stronger foundation to keep innovating and building the next chapter of Pip & Nut."

A certified B Corp, the brand also launched a foundation in 2025 that donates at least 10% of EBITDA to tackling hunger and loneliness, supporting 200,000 meals so far.
