Omni, the London-based plant-based pet-food company, has closed an £11m ($14.5m) Series A. The round was led by UK investors IW Capital and Redrice Ventures, with participation from RootBridge Capital, Digitalis Ventures, and US alternative-protein specialist Lever VC.
Deborah Meaden, who backed Omni alongside Steven Bartlett on Dragons' Den in 2025, increased her stake.

Founded in 2020 by Guy Sandelowsky and Shiv Sivakumar, Omni sells vet-formulated foods, treats, and supplements that replace animal protein with yeast, algae, and pulse-based ingredients. The range targets dogs with allergies, sensitivities, anxiety, and gut issues, sold through Omni's own site and Amazon.
The capital funds three priorities: expanding UK distribution into major bricks-and-mortar retailers, acquiring new online customers, and testing the US market. Omni will also develop LeanPaws, an "Ozempic-style, natural, weight-loss supplement for dogs that is completely drug free," first announced last year.
The company says revenue has grown more than 10x over the past 12 months and that its products have reached over 300,000 dogs, alongside newly initiated clinical research into health outcomes.
"A few years ago, I was sleeping on a friend's sofa with a dream of building a company that could genuinely improve the lives of pets," wrote Sivakumar, noting the team had weathered repeated investor pushback on a "crowded" market before closing the round.
