Founded in 2001, VitHit makes low-calorie still and sparkling drinks fortified with vitamins and minerals. The brand has ridden rising consumer interest in nutrition to strong growth, averaging 9.5% a year over the past three years and almost doubling in size since 2021. It posted sales of €26.5m in the year to 31 December 2025, with adjusted operating profit of €4.2m and adjusted pre-tax profit of €4.1m.

The acquisition continues Nichols' push beyond its heritage cordial and soft drinks base into higher-growth functional categories, following its recent move into protein water with Myprotein.
