Lazaroo-Hood Group has made its first significant investment from its second fund, backing Bob, the personal care brand behind what it bills as the world's first hard refillable body wash.

Founder Ross Lazaroo-Hood said the group had opened Funding Round 2 slightly ahead of schedule, and picked Bob as its debut commitment.
Founded by Will Richards, Michael Brennan and Max Agace, Bob sells a refillable body wash bar and applicator pitched as a head-to-toe, lower-plastic alternative to liquid body wash and traditional soap. The brand positions itself against an industry it argues is heavy on plastic waste, with formulations free from sulfates and matched to skin's natural pH.
"It is a delight to have Ross and his team join the Bob journey, and we're excited for the next chapter," said co-founder Michael Brennan.
