Creatine monohydrate is the most researched form of the ingredient, and HERMOSA's is micronised into finer particles to mix and dissolve more easily into water, smoothies or its own shakes, without altering taste. It is a pointed contrast to the flavoured, multi-ingredient creatine blends increasingly crowding the category.
For a brand that made its case on flavour and texture in protein, the move into a category defined by purity and consistency is a notable step, and a bet that its quality positioning travels beyond its hero product.
"I'm incredibly proud of the product itself, but what excites me more is what it represents for where we are taking HERMOSA," said co-founder Erika Tamayo.
