Hello Klean released the Shower Head+, an app-connected shower filter that combines three-stage filtration with hydropowered usage tracking.
The device alerts users when to replace their filter based on actual water flow rather than a fixed time interval and warns them when water temperature exceeds 42°C, the threshold at which the brand says skin barrier and hair follicle damage can begin.
How the filtration works
Shower Head+ introduces a new scale-inhibiting filtration approach the brand calls CRS technology. The brand notes that no shower filter can fully soften water, but CRS coats minerals before they have a chance to bond, reducing the limescale that builds up on skin, hair, and bathroom surfaces over time.
Usage tracking, no batteries
The device's hydropowered tracking system, which logs real water usage and feeds the data into the Hello Klean app. The app sends a notification when filter performance drops based on litres run through the head, rather than a fixed-interval reminder.

Because the unit draws its power from the flow of water itself, there are no batteries or charging requirements.
The 42°C alert
The built-in temperature alert flags when water hits 42°C, which the brand cites as the temperature at which hot water begins to strip the skin's natural oils, compromise barrier function, and damage the hair cuticle.
The Shower Head+ is shipping now from helloklean.com.
