Borough Broth, the British organic bone broth producer, has launched its first gravy range, with Proper Beef Gravy and Proper Chicken Gravy landing in more than 200 Sainsbury's stores from 16 September. Both are organic, UPF-free and sold chilled in 400g packs, ready to heat and serve.

The move takes the brand's slow-cooked bone broth into an everyday category. The beef gravy is built on broth from grass-fed beef bones, finished with organic herbs and red wine; the chicken version uses free-range chicken bones with white wine for a lighter finish.
"Moving into gravy felt like a very natural next step for us," said founder and CEO Ros Heathcote, framing it as bringing "homemade ready-to-use gravy without compromising on how it's made." For Borough Broth, it is a logical category extension, applying its broth credentials to a higher-volume, mainstream occasion.
